Water Bar, Sparks, NV
We visited Water Bar on Sparks Marina in Sparks, Nevada in early December. It was a chilled day, but, not too cold. We sat outside on the expansive deck. The sun was setting since it was later in the afternoon and while it was pretty to look at, it wasn’t fun on the eyes. Until the sun went over the Sierras it was very hard to see anything. However, once it did, we had a nice seat on the Sparks Marina with Reno and the mountains in the distance.
For an appetizer we had the Salt and Vinegar chips. They were made right there and had a great crispness and flavor. Could have used more vinegar!
Chris had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich which was also good, but, a little too spicy. Had it with some Ranch dressing which leveled it out a bit.
Rachel had the Korean short rib street tacos. The meat was really good and cooked well.
We had some fries as well. They were battered? I think? Anyway, not bad. Good seasoning.
For drinks, Chris had an espresso martini and it was pretty tasty. Rachel had a Moscow mule and she reports it as just “fine”.
The service was great and we’d be back soon.
